Output Stream

The Output Stream element is the delivery point from Streamrun to your streaming platforms. Add up to six destinations per element and multistream to all of them simultaneously. Manage destinations on the Output Destinations page.

Going live

Switch the configuration to RUNNING mode by pressing the green Run button. When the configuration starts, outputs are offline by default. You will be redirected to the controls page where you can set individual destinations live and start streaming to your audience.

Settings

Output type

Standard

Enable one or more output destinations — YouTube, Kick, custom RTMP, and more. Manage destinations on the Output destinations page and refresh the list after adding new ones.

YouTube Dual Stream

Stream to YouTube simultaneously in both horizontal and vertical orientation. Read more about YouTube Dual Streaming.

Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting

Streams to Twitch in multiple resolutions simultaneously. The optimal stream configuration is fetched from Twitch automatically when you go live. No other destinations can be added to this element — use a Splitter for multistreaming alongside Twitch.

Dual Format: stream to Twitch in both horizontal and vertical at the same time. Read more about Twitch Dual Format.

Encoding settings

Define the output resolution, bitrate, and frame rate. These typically don't need to change unless you have specific platform requirements. Available for Standard output type. Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting and Dual Format fetch their configuration automatically from Twitch.

Audio settings

Configure the outgoing audio track when using the Twitch VOD track feature.

Live track

Audio track 1 from the incoming stream, with Streamrun audio (Video Player, HTML Overlay) mixed in.

VOD track

Audio track 2 from the incoming stream, with Streamrun audio mixed in. Falls back to Live track if the input has only one audio track.

Live + VOD

Sends both tracks separately. Twitch uses Live for the broadcast and VOD for recordings. Other platforms typically use only the Live track.

Destination status

Each destination shows a red or green dot indicating whether it is currently live. Standard outputs can have multiple destinations. Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting and Twitch Dual Format outputs are Twitch-only.
