Output stream

Output stream

Output stream element contains configurations for platforms and sites you're streaming to. Each output element can include multiple destinations, such as platforms like Twitch and YouTube, or custom RTMP servers.

Settings

  • Actions
    • Go LIVE or OFFLINE with the output and all it's destinations. Configuration is switched to live mode automatically when you go LIVE.
  • Output type
    • Standard
      • Enable one or more output destinations, like YouTube, Kick, or your custom RTMP server. Manage destinations on the Output destinations page and refresh the list after modifications.
    • Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting
      • Stream to Twitch with multiple resolutions simultaneously. Select an Twitch account, and optimal stream configuration will be fetched from Twitch when you go live. If the Output type is Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting, no other destination can be added to this Output stream element.

Destination status

Output destinations Each Standard Output stream element (i.e., not Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting) can include multiple output destinations.

A red or green dot indicates whether each destination is currently live.

Output destination error If an output destination shows ERROR, the destination server has rejected the live stream after several retries. This is usually caused by:

  • Incorrect stream key
  • Mistyped RTMP URL (for custom destinations)
  • Outage or issue on the destination platform
